Add a song you think fits the Paladins. Book Club selections will be added.

Paladin SoundTrack Empty Nickelback

Post  Denise Thu Dec 30, 2010 5:13 pm

Nickleback has a bunch of good songs for these guys. One of them is "Savin' Me" from their All the Right Reasons album. I know Acheron from the Dark Hunters already stole this one but it fits our guys very well. Also from the same album, "Far Away" fits Trahern beautifully. I'll keep an eye out for others.

Paladin SoundTrack Empty 3 Doors Down

Post  Denise Thu Dec 30, 2010 5:45 pm

Another good band to look at is 3 Doors Down. They tend to write a lot of songs with the military in mind, and many of those fit our guys too. Some of them are "When I'm Gone" and "Away From the Sun" from the Away From the Sun album, and "Duck and Run" from their The Better Life album.

Here are some titles that I picked for the Paladins.

Driving With The Top Down from the Iron Man Soundtrack
Battlefield by Jordan Sparks
Strength and Honor from Gladiator Soundtrack
Kashmir by Escala
Takin Care of Business by Bachman-Turner Overdrive
Blaze of Glory by Bon Jovi
Princes of the Universe by Queen

Whats so bad is that I have never heard of those songs, but they sound like the guys though.

I've started a playlist for The Paladins. I'll add to it as more songs are suggested.

My choice may seem a little insensitive but I can totally see Bodies by Drowning Pool being on a Paladin playlist.

On a side note, that song is one of the most common tracks played by US military members when getting ready to go 'outside the wire' in Iraq and Afghanistan. The band got so many comments from military fans about the song that Drowning Pool started to get involved with the USO to support the troops downrange. They're hugely popular whenever they can make a USO tour, either stateside or in theater.
