Aha Moment: The second time I read these chapters was when I started to see Sgt. Purefoy's character and his part in the plot against the Paladins and in specific Devlin.

Favorite Quote: Its the last half of what Devlin is sayign to Cullen and DJ as he explains his recent death." I was killed by a human, not an Other."

Favortie Minor Character: Cullen is my favorite from these chapters. You get to see him as the thinker in the group.

LOL Moment: Devlin's reaction to Cullen telling Penn to have him call once he reaches the research center, as he Devlin says he doesn'r need a baby-sitter.

My favortive moment and romantic moment are the same: When Laural has to put down the Paladin from the Pacific area and how Devlin went to her and comforted her and the romance of what happened afterwards.

Favortie Visual: Devlin, Cullen, and DJ are in Deviln's office as they discuss the discovery of the pouches and how they might tie into Devlin's "death".

Least Favorite moment: I did not have one in these chapters.

Foreshadowing: How the plans that the enemy had begin to change as he sees what Laural means to Devlin.

Songs that fit: some thing that has to do with love and war but not sure what would be good. I do know that when the guys are together I can see the song Brothers by Dean Brody.

Remember tonight we'll be discussing Chapters 1-6 - since I spaced last week. We'll be starting in about 2 and a half hours.

Hello. How are you? I loaned my books to a friend to introduce her to the series, but I forgot about the discussion until after I did it.

LOL don't worry Karen! We can do it differently than the other book club - a run down of each chapter and discuss or do the questions. Half the fun is seeing the book from other points of view.

I'm giving everyone till 7:30 to check in then I guess we can start.

okay with no one but me talking and only Karen here - I'm going to call Wed nights a bust - we'll figure out another night that works better for everyone. So no club tonight.
